What Is The Perfect Letterhead For Your Business

If you want to make a letterhead, think of a unique and pleasing design that would fit the nature of your business. Search on effective letterheads to serve as your guide.

You are now ready to make the panel. Use a hard wooden plank. Trace the shape of the panel, and then cut the wood. After cutting it, smooth the surface and edges. Paint the panel with varnish and let it dry. Draw the design and outline on the panel. Then paste the letters on the panel. Then, start painting the letters. Use a spray in painting. Choose a color that will not make any irregularities, like glued part, noticeable. Use push pins to hold the letters during the drying process.Sometimes you cannot prevent the letters from breaking, especially in the priming process. Glue the broken parts together. When the glue becomes dry, carefully smooth the surface. When all the letters had been cut, rounded and smoothed, put them on top of the corresponding letters on the outline. In this way, you can see the bitten off or chipped part. The only solution you can make is to re-sand it.After plotting the letters, use a scroll saw or cutter to cut them. This step is quite difficult because there is a possibility that the letters will be deformed. Make sure that the back sides of the letters are well shaped and flat. For the front, you will have to round it.The next step is to prime the letters. Since foam is very light you will have to anchor them so that the letters will not fly all over the place. To do this, put the letters on top of the cardboard. Pin the letters from the back so you can prime the whole front part. Priming involves several coating. After making the layout, start printing the letters. You can either manually draw it or make use of the computer if you wanted a fast and accurate output. Print the letters individually on a carbon paper so that you can easily trace them on the foam.Sanding of the letters is very time consuming. In this step, use a sand paper to smooth-even the letters and to make the curves for the front side.Have a copy of the outline of the design. You can print it on a plain white paper. Fill the letters with dark colors so that it will be easy for you to determine irregularity in the shape of the sanded letters. Make the letters on your outline a little larger so that you can easily see the difference.

You are now ready to make the panel. Use a hard wooden plank. Trace the shape of the panel, and then cut the wood. After cutting it, smooth the surface and edges. Paint the panel with varnish and let it dry. Draw the design and outline on the panel. Then paste the letters on the panel.

BOOK OF REVELATION UNCOVERED: Chapter 10

Revelation 10

1 I saw a powerful angel come down from heaven. This one was covered with a cloud,(THIS CAN REFER TO WHAT IS CALLED THE "GLORY OF GOD") and a rainbow (THIS IS A SYMBOL FOR PEACE AND MERCY) was over his head. His face was like the sun, his legs were like columns of fire, 2 and with his hand he held a little scroll that had been unrolled. He stood there with his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. (THIS INDICATES HIS POWER OVER THE ENTIRE EARTH) 3 Then he shouted with a voice that sounded like a growling lion. Then thunderous voices (MOST PROBABLY VOICES 0F OTHER ANGELS) roared seven times. 4 After the thunderous voices stopped, I was about to write down what the voices had said but a voice from heaven shouted, "Keep it secret! Don't write down these things." 5 The angel I had seen standing on the sea and the land then held his right hand up toward heaven. 6 He made a promise in the name of God who lives forever and who created heaven, earth, the sea, and every living creature. The angel said, "You won't have to wait any longer".7 God told his secret plans (THIS IS THOUGHT TO REFER TO GOD'S USE OF SATAN TO CARRY OUT HIS WILL) to his servants the prophets, and it will all happen by the time the seventh angel sounds his trumpet."(IT IS THOUGHT THAT THIS WILL SIGNAL THE START OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD) 8 Once again the voice from heaven spoke to me. It said, "Go and take the open scroll from the hand of the angel standing on the sea and the land." 9 When I went over to ask the angel for the little scroll, the angel said, "Take the scroll and eat it up" (A BETTER ENGLISH TRANSLATION IS "DIGEST ITS CONTENTS") Your stomach will turn sour,(THIS PROBABLY REFERS TO THE SCROLL'S DISCUSSION OF GOD'S HARSH PUNISHMENTS FOR THE WORLD ) but the taste in your mouth will be as sweet as honey."(THIS CAN REFER TO THE NATURE OF GOD'S WORD) 10 I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it up. The taste was as sweet as honey, but my stomach turned sour. 11 Then He (MOST LIKELY JESUS) stated "Keep on telling what will happen to the people of many nations, races, languages, and (POLITICAL) rulers."(THIS IS THE REASON THIS BOOK HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN THE BIBLE . IT PRESENTS A DIRE WARNING OF WHAT AWAITS A WORLD HELL- BENT ON SERVING SATAN THROUGH ITS DEDICATION TO SIN.TRAGICALLY THESE WARNINGS ARE ALMOST NEVER TAUGHT IN MANY CHURCHES THAT INSTEAD CHOOSE TO IGNORE THE WRATH OF GOD RESERVED FOR THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO SIN AS THIS BOOK DESCRIBES IN EXTENSIVE DETAIL.)

Knowing The Woodworking Terminology

Woodworking is responsible for lots of the houses, furniture and other wooden materials and articles used in homes and office surroundings. Simply defined, woodworking is the art or craft (of which it seems more like magic) of creating things out of wood. Woodworking is usually done by a carpenter but nowadays anyone can do it, it can be learned to a point in a very short period of time and is a very enjoyable pass time.

Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, Well, arent you going to answer these charges? What do you have to say for yourself? But Jesus remained silent. Matthew 26:62-63 (NLT)But He was wounded and crushed for our sins. Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)And the four living beings said, Amen! And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped God and the Lamb. Revelation 5:1-14 (NLT)He ordered Jesus flogged with a lead-tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to crucify him. Matthew 27:26 (NLT)NOAHS ARK MODEL : http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/album/NOAHS%20ARK%20MODEL/images/c617c1e56b6809cd3ca924501223e4d2_11550917090/:album?css=/lib/style/trebuchet.css&css=/lib/style/type_album.cssFor now, most of the world continues to ignore this. But the day is soon coming when this world will fully acknowledge the power of Gods Word. Just as the prophecies of Isaiah 53 were fulfilled to the very letter, the prophecies of Revelation 5 will also be fulfilled. And oh what a glorious day that will be!Contact Information - densmodelships@zoomshare.com

When starting out, choose a workbench that fits the place where you do your woodworking projects. A workbench with a wood top would be ideal. The size of the workbench also depends on the type of woodworking projects you intend to do in the future. If it is just for crafting toys then a small bench would be ideal.

Isaiah 53: The Lamb of God

More than 2,500 years ago, God revealed the greatest message in history to the Hebrew prophet Isaiah. In chapter 53 of the book that bears his name, Isaiah unveils Gods message of salvation to the world, and in so doing, he reveals the identity of the Messiah the Lamb of God who would lay down His life as an offering for the worlds sins.

For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross. This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, yet now he has brought you back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. Colossians 1:19-22 (NLT)As Revelation 5:13 states, every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea will attest to the glory of Christ! And they sang a new song with these words:Yet it was our weaknesses he carried. It was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God for his own sins! But he was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and we were healed! All of us have strayed away like sheep. We have left Gods paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the guilt and sins of us all.DENS MODEL SHIP SHOP: We sell our model ships on gifts such as, Posters, T-Shirts, Coffee Mugs, Clocks, Steins, Coasters, Infant Apparel, Hats, Stickers, Magnets, Buttons, Stamps & more. http://www.cafepress.com/densmodelshopWounded and Crushed for Our SinsBe ComfortedA beginning woodworker should have the necessary tools and supplies even if he is just starting out in his craft. Woodworking power tools can be quite tempting but those who don't have the budget for such gadgets should stick with the hand woodworking tools.ConclusionBut the crowd shouted louder and louder for Jesus death, and their voices prevailed. So Pilate sentenced Jesus to die as they demanded. As they had requested, he released Barabbas, the man in prison for insurrection and murder. But he delivered Jesus over to them to do as they wished. Luke 23:23-25 (NLT)USS CONSTELLATION MODEL: http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/album/%20U.S.S.%20CONSTELLATION/images/a02634d2f88a98c29d587cdcb70ba321_11368304500/:album?css=/lib/style/trebuchet.css&css=/lib/style/type_album.cssTwo others, both criminals, were led out to be executed with him. Luke 23:32 (NLT)And Pilate said to the people, Here is your king! Away with him, they yelled. Away with him crucify him! What? Crucify your king? Pilate asked. We have no king but Caesar, the leading priests shouted back. John 19:14-15 (NLT)The art of woodworking used to be done manually by skilled carpenters and the likes. However, new technological advancements now allow for the discovery of new machines that have made woodworking less manual, more modern and more creative and efficient (plus a heck of a lot more accurate). Instead of shaping wood materials in mans creative but flaw full hands, the woodworkers now make use several machines to shape the wooden product they want to make.Because of the Lamb, a multitude throughout the ages will be counted as righteous. They will be clothed in white robes and stand before the throne of God without fault. They will experience fellowship with God, and spend eternity in His peace. Because of the fulfilled prophecy of Isaiah 53, a human race which once lived in darkness can now move forward with hope:Although many claim this passage is yet to be fulfilled prophecy, history records that every iota of Isaiah 53 was fulfilled in the life of one man, a Jewish carpenter from Nazareth. The Gospels testify to the life of Jesus Christ, providing the world with ample evidence of His identity as the Lamb of God. For anyone who is skeptical or hasnt had the good fortune to examine the historical record, Isaiah 53 contains multiple prophecies about the life and times of the Messiah each one fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. Here are just a few of those prophecies, followed by a corresponding verse (or verses) from the New Testament which confirms fulfillment in the life of Jesus:Revelation Chapter 5 describes an actual event that will take place in heaven following the rapture, and just prior to the Tribulation period which begins with the breaking of the first seal. Those who have loved Christ throughout the ages up until the time of the rapture will be present for this awesome event, and they will participate in singing the praises of the Lamb on the day He takes possession of the scroll. For in that day, the evils of this world will pass away, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!I looked and I saw a Lamb that had been killed but was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God that are sent out into every part of the earth. He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. And as he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense the prayers of Gods people! He was whipped, and we were healed! Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)FREE ROPEWALK PLAN: http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/2.htmlThe Lamb is worthy the Lamb who was killed. He is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.Bore the Sins of the MankindHe was despised and rejected a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we did not care. Isaiah 53:3 (NLT)The Coming Glory of ChristThen I wept because no one could be found who was worthy to open the scroll and read it. But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to Davids throne, has conquered. He is worthy to open the scroll and break its seven seals.NOAHS ARK DIORAMA: http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/1.shtml/%20%22%20NOAHS%20ARK%20DIORAMA%20%22Revelation 5Then they nailed him to the cross. Mark 15:24 (NLT)Both aspiring and expert woodworkers should be aware of the important terminologies used in woodworking. One often-used term is milling, which is the use of a mill for grinding a board. Woodworkers should know that board-feet isn't a kind of furniture but it is a standard measurement when selling rough lumber in the United States. On the other hand, yield doesn't refer to harvest of agricultural products but it is the term given to denote the efficiency of milling unprocessed lumber. Waste is a common result when milling rough wood so when you are said to have accomplished a hundred percent yield, it means you have milled the rough lumber without producing any waste at all.ABOUT THE SHIPS: All the ships are Plank on Frame construction (hollow hulls) http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/album/New%20British%20Ship%20in%20Working%20Progress/images/a1e8f0c07be63607f78f07c4bee79340_11364258050/:album?css=/lib/style/trebuchet.css&css=/lib/style/type_album.css#. The ships are made from all types of woods, which are: Cherry, Walnut, Chestnut, Mahogany, Oak, Pine, and other exotic woods. The scale in these models are 1/96 and 1/192. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich mans grave. Isaiah 53:9 (NLT)But it was the Lords good plan to crush him and fill him with grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have a multitude of children, many heirs. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lords plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of what he has experienced, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of one who is mighty and great, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among those who were sinners. He bore the sins of many and interceded for sinners. Isaiah 53:1-12 (NLT)Who has believed our message? To whom will the Lord reveal his saving power? My servant grew up in the Lords presence like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him. He was despised and rejected a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we did not care.SCALED NOAHS ARK MODEL: http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/1.shtml/Scaled%20Model%20of%20Noahs%20ArkHe was beaten that we might have peace. Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They also sang:Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. The scroll represents the title deed of the earth, giving its owner possession of everything that is, was, or will be on it or in it since the first day of Gods creation. The opening of the scroll indicates the beginning of Jesus taking possession of the earth in preparation for His Millennial Kingdom.WOOD WORK TECHNIQUES: As far as the wood work goes, I first take the raw wood ( board ) to the table saw to cut everything that I need. Then from there the rest of the pieces are cut with the scroll saw and a executive knife. No dowels are used on these model, the mast are cut square then I rasp the corners and sand until round. For all the round spindle wood work I use a drill as my lathe, then I use my files to shape and sand the parts that I need. No store bought pieces or parts, or factory cut wood, all 100% handcrafted. The raw materials that I use are, wood, Sculpey, wire, and thread. LATHE WORK: I don't have a lathe, and I don't use dowels, the drill is my lathe for the small parts. For the masts I take the board and cut it on the table saw into squares 1/4" x 1/4" then I rasp the corners and hand sand round. And the round spindles on the deck, I put the 1/8" round stock into my drill chuck, then I cut and sand with the files to get the shape that I want.MODEL SHIP STORE: This store is where these models can be purchased or ordered. http://nauticalgifts.redtienda.netAll Will Acknowledge His GloryThere are several terms used in woodworking which every woodworker should know. If you aren't aware of them then you must do some research or talk to expert woodworkers as you may learn a lot from them.He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. From prison and trial they led him away to his death. But who among the people realized that he was dying for their sins that he was suffering their punishment? He had done no wrong, and he never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich mans grave. You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were killed, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become Gods kingdom and his priests. And they will reign on the earth. In Revelation 5:4, John weeps because no one can be found who is worthy to open the scroll. If the scroll cannot be opened, then there is no hope for this fallen world. Yet John is soon comforted by one of the twenty-four elders who points out that the Lion of Judah, the heir to Davids throne, is worthy to open the scroll. In verse six, we learn He is also a Lamb that had been killed the same Lamb of God from Isaiah 53.Here is some photos of some of my finished models that are for sale. The modernization of woodworking has lifted the woodworking art to a new level. Modern woodworking tools and equipment led to the mushrooming of do it yourself shops that offer wooden materials, project designs for specific woodwork and the corresponding tools and equipment that can be used by the aspiring woodworker.Buried in a Rich Mans GraveThe Lambs IdentityFrom prison and trial they led him away to his death. But who among the people realized that he was dying for their sins that he was suffering their punishment? Isaiah 53:8 (NLT)Despised and RejectedPaul comforts us by reminding us of this coming day in his letter to the Philippians:But it was the Lords good plan to crush him and fill him with grief. Isaiah 53:10-12 (NLT)Hundreds of years before Jesus came into this world in human form, the prophet Isaiah revealed a plan by God to make one mans life an offering for sin. The prophecies of Isaiah 53 were fulfilled in the life, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.Silent Before His AccusersFor all have sinned; all fall short of Gods glorious standard. Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy Gods anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times. And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he declares sinners to be right in his sight because they believe in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26 (NLT)I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. John 16:33 (NLT)Because of this, God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name that is above every other name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 (NLT)Led from Prison and Trial to DeathThese verses continue to be fulfilled in our day and in the times to come. The heirs of Jesus Christ a multitude too numerous to count are still being gained to this day, with new names being added to His family on a daily basis. And although Christians honor Jesus as one who is mighty and great, the world continues to despise and reject Him. Nevertheless, the day will soon come when this world will honor Jesus Christ in all His glory. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Isaiah 53:7 (NLT)As those who love Christ, we can also take comfort in the knowledge that very soon every living creature will acknowledge His glory. After carrying the burden of our sins, being mocked and despised and ridiculed and hated Jesus Christ will get His just due. He will receive everlasting honor and glory and power, and He will be acknowledged by everyone. We can be comforted because the Lamb is worthy, for He was killed, and His blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. The sins of humanity will soon give way to Christs eternal reign and the words of the prophets will soon be fulfilled. The last verses of Isaiah 53 continue to describe the life of Jesus Christ:

For in that day, the evils of this world will pass away, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!

And they beat him on the head with a stick, spit on him, and dropped to their knees in mock worship. Mark 15:19 (NLT)Beaten that We May Have PeaceIsaiah 53Then I looked again, and I heard the singing of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a might chorus:Revelation chapter 5 transports us to the beginning of this new era:Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God for his own sins! Isaiah 53:4 (NLT)Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a long linen cloth. He placed it in his own new tomb, which had been carved out of the rock. Then he rolled the great stone across the entrance as he left. Matthew 27:59-60 (NLT)Woodworking is also synonymous with joints so you should know the different kinds of joints. A dovetail joint is a stable and sturdy joint for a woodworking project. Dovetail joints can be done with the use of a scroll saw or even by hand. What matters is you know the technique of creating dovetails and you are patient and skillful. Another type of joint is the mortise and tenon joint, a kind of woodworking joint popularly used in ships. It is also a sturdy joint and a project using this kind of joint will definitely be a showcase of your woodworking prowess.Whipped So We Are HealedBUILDING TECHNIQUES: Some of my techniques for building my model ships, would be using a modeling compound called (Sculpey) for some of my guild details, click here- http://www.densmodelships.zoomshare.com/album/New%20British%20Ship%20in%20Working%20Progress/images/0fc7a1613ac199cbc695bdf13f43c947_11364345530/:album?css=/lib/style/trebuchet.css&css=/lib/style/type_album.css. It is a modeling compound bought at the hobby shops. It comes in a square block, almost like clay but it doesn't get hard until baked. First I take the raw material, shape it by hand how I want it, fit it to the ship, carefully take it off, bake it, glue it on, and then paint it gold. To carve these pieces out of wood, I would not paint them because it would take away the wood work. But when I paint the guilded work gold I use the compound. Its almost like plastic and it works great. This compound is used for all my gold work on my model ships. I also use it sometimes for the sales, flags, and the dead-eyes.Jesus revealed to us this peace, which we attain through trust in Him, during His earthly ministry:POWERED ROPEWALK: Easy Ropewalk http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h291/MODELSHIPCONSTRUCTION/Easy%20Ropewalk/?sc=3When starting out, choose a workbench that fits the place where you do your woodworking projects. A workbench with a wood top would be ideal. The size of the workbench also depends on the type of woodworking projects you intend to do in the future. If it is just for crafting toys then a small bench would be ideal.

Broken Key Removal (Pin Tumbler Locks)

Having a key break off in one of your locks can be a real pain in the neck. But with the proper information you can better understand the problem and take steps to solve it. With the information I provide in this article, you stand a very good chance of removing the key yourself and preventing it from happening to you in the future.

We locksmiths have a variety of tools for removing broken keys from locks. One of the more common tools I use is made of springy steel that is 5" long, 5/16" wide at the handle and .022" thick. There is a small tapered barb at the end of this tool that will dig or "bite" into the broken key piece so the piece can be pulled out.BROKEN KEY REMOVAL TOOLSBergez said she is not sure how many UNO students and faculty have iPhone but that the university plans to expand the application to the Blackberry and Droid platforms. Now that you have read through this information, you should be ready to attempt removing a broken key on your own. Good Luck! NOTE: This article (with pictures) can also be found on my web site www.GoldKeySelect.com.WHAT CAUSES KEYS TO BREAKWhen a deep cut gets too weak somewhere in the middle of a key, you end up with the front part of the key in the lock and the remainder in your hand. The good news is the lock is probably in the proper position for key removal (more on that later).FIRST - as in Procedure #1, we suggest spraying a lubricant such as WD-40 or Tri-Flow in the lock's keyway first.PROCEDURE #1 - Partial Key Broken Off In Lock2. The key is made of a light-weight material not suitable for everyday use. Keys cut on aluminum blanks are a prime example. They will also break at a deep-cut "weak point" only sooner. Identified by their light weight and either grey in color or sometimes bright colors such as red, green, blue or gold. Both the UNO and Tulane applications are designed by Tulsa, Okla.- based application developer Straxis Technology, which has designed applications for schools such as West Point and the University of Nebraska.Students can now pull up the campus dining lunch menu, connect to the university Twitter feed and YouTube channel and even play the UNO fight song on their phones, she said.It is not absolutely necessary to invest in a broken key extractor tool. As long as the tool you use is made of sturdy metal, is narrow enough to enter the keyway, and has a barb to grab on to the broken key you will likely be successful. A scroll saw or jig saw blade should do the trick. Both the universities introduced the free applications this year that allow iPhone users to view course offerings, scroll through campus news and events, and navigate the campus from their phones.THIRD - let the barb "bite" into one of the cuts of the broken key piece and give the tool a sharp tug towards you. The key piece should coming flying out of the keyway. When the first cut in the key is deep and gets too weak, you end up with just the head of the key in your hand. Most of the time what remains in the lock is the operating part of the key. That is, all key cuts that are necessary to operate the lock are stuck in the lock (if you are really lucky, enough of the key will be sticking out so a small pliers/tweezers are all you need to remove the broken piece-but that usually doesn't happen). You can test if the lock will operate by taking a small screwdriver and, using it like a key, try turning the lock cylinder. If the lock cylinder does not turn follow procedure #1. If you can turn the cylinder more than a few degrees to the right or left you have to make sure the lock cylinder is positioned so the key can be removed. Let me explain...Sarah Bergez, associate director of marketing at UNO, said the university started developing the application earlier this year after students requested the service. The UNO application was released July 16.FOURTH - take the two pieces of the key to your local locksmith or key center and get another one or two made.1. The key has one or more deep cuts which become the "weak point" of the key. After so much use (or just a little abuse) the key will break at these points. Having a deep cut as the first cut (next to the head of the key) can be real trouble but a deep cut in the middle of the key can cause big problems too; Most keys, even brass and nickle-plated keys, will eventually wear out and break along any of a key's cuts. But some conditions will speed up the process such as:SECOND - insert the removal tool into the lock's keyway so that the barb (or teeth) can contact the cuts of the key piece to be removed. You should be able to tell how far to insert the tool based on how much of the key you still have in your hand.

Now that you have read through this information, you should be ready to attempt removing a broken key on your own. Good Luck! NOTE: This article (with pictures) can also be found on my web site www.GoldKeySelect.com.

BOOK OF REVELATION UNCOVERED: Chapter 5

Revelation: 5

1.In the right hand of the One (GOD) sitting on the throne I saw a scroll (A ROLL OF PAPER ) that had writing on the inside and on the outside. And it was sealed in seven places.(THE SEALS MIGHT BE MADE OF WAX) 2 I saw a mighty angel ask with a loud voice, "Who is worthy (MORALLY AND SPIRITUALLY QUALIFIED) to open the scroll and break its seals?" 3 No man in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or see inside it. 4 I cried hard because no man was found worthy (BECAUSE OF SIN) to open the scroll or see inside it.( THE SCROLL CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE JUDGMENT AND GOD'S PUNISHMENT FOR SIN) 5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Stop crying and look! The One who is called both the 'Lion from the Tribe of Judah' and the root of David (NAMES GIVEN TO JESUS) has won the victory. He will open the book and its seven seals."6 Then I looked and saw a Lamb standing in the center of the throne that was surrounded by the four living creatures andthe elders. The Lamb looked as if it had once been killed. (REFERS TO JESUS' CRUCIFIXION) It had seven horns (THIS IS A SYMBOL FOR POWER) and seven (THIS NUMBER INDICATES FINAL OR IN THIS CASE,TOTAL) eyes (THIS CAN INDICATE THE ABILITY TO SEE OR IN THIS CASE,UNDERSTAND) which are the seven spirits ( OF THE HOLY SPIRIT) of God, sent out to all the earth. 7 The Lamb (JESUS) went over and took the scroll from the right hand of the One (GOD) who sat on the throne. 8 After He had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders knelt down before Him. Each of them had a harp and a gold bowl full of incense, which are (A SYMBOL FOR) the prayers of God's people. 9 Then they sang a new song, "You are worthy to receive the scroll and open its seals, because you were killed And with your own blood you bought (OBTAINED SALVATION) for God people from every tribe, language, nation, and race.(ALL PERSONS)10 You let them become kings and serve God as priests and they will rule (HELP TO GOVERN) on earth." (THIS WILL OCCUR DURING JESUS' 1000 YEAR KINGDOM) 11 As I looked, I heard the voices of many angels around the throne and the voices of the living creatures and of the elders. There were millions and millions of them 12 and they were saying in a loud voice,"The Lamb (JESUS) who was killed (JESUS' SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS ON THE CROSS IS A FREQUENT SUBJECT FOR TEACHING IN HEAVEN) is worthy to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise." (THESE ARE CALLED THE SEVENFOLD BLESSINGS FROM GOD)13 Then I heard all beings in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea offer praise. Together, all of them were saying, "Praise, honor, glory, and strength forever and ever to the One who sits on the throne (GOD) and to the Lamb!"(JESUS)14 The four living creatures said "Amen," while the elders knelt down and worshiped Him who lives forever.

Tulane, UNO provide iPhone apps for students

Forget the days of course catalogs and campus maps, Tulane University and University of New Orleans students can now access school information from their iPhones.

THIRD - let the barb "bite" into one of the cuts of the broken key piece and give the tool a sharp tug towards you. The key piece should coming flying out.FIRST - unless the lock has been in good working order (with the key going in and out smoothly) prior to the key breaking off, I suggest spraying a lubricant such as WD-40 or Tri-Flow in the lock's keyway first. You want the broken key piece to slip out as easy as possible and a dry or gummy lock will make the job harder.Usually before a key breaks, one or more tiny cracks will appear by the cut about to give way. You may want to check your keys right now -at least the ones that you use and depend on every day. If you see a tiny crack being formed by one of the cuts or if the key is bent or misshapen in any way, go to your nearest locksmith or key shop and get another one or two made. And just to be safe, don't carelessly toss the old key away. A new key could be made from the pieces and used to access your property.SECOND - insert the removal tool into the lock's keyway so that the barb (or teeth) can contact the cuts of the key piece to be removed. You should not have to insert the tool very far - just so it reaches the first or second cut of the key piece. Most locks have one position that a lock cylinder must be in for key removal. If you were to insert a key in most any pin tumbler lock and turn it, the key could not be removed until the lock cylinder is back in the proper key removal position. The same is true when removing a broken key piece that still works the lock. The key cylinder must be in its normal key removal position or you will be wasting your time trying to remove the broken piece.

Both the UNO and Tulane applications are designed by Tulsa, Okla.- based application developer Straxis Technology, which has designed applications for schools such as West Point and the University of Nebraska.

Professional PR groups step up programming efforts

Rob Seitz's interest was piqued when he saw an ad for a social media seminar - that is, until he scrolled to the bottom of the page and saw the $900 price tag affixed to the day-long soiree.

"We're not a rich organization, but we give all of these sweetheart deals, where for instance, if you come to a meeting as a nonmember and you join, you can come to the next meeting for free or whatnot," Seitz said. This year it was Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band, appearing with a bunch of ancient carols and capers with Christmas but days away at St George's Hall, Bradford. The independent communications consultant, like many of his peers, calls his office "home" and inevitably needed the interaction and time away from the monitor that professional networking groups afford.Because Diamond band saw blades are designed for specific application, it is crucial that you know which type of blade is best used for the materials you plan to cut or grind.Manufacturer of diamond blades have their own way of providing the blades. A few of them make harder blades, while some make softer blades. However, you need to know that this has nothing to do with the quality of the blade. The hardness or softness of the blade affects only the bond that holds the diamond in place.CAPTION(S):"The spin we put on it was. 'How do you sustain sustainability?' especially if a company has invested a lot of money into it and now all of a sudden, the whole idea is 2008," Seitz said.In electroplating, the diamonds are coated onto the blades using an electrical current which entrusts the coating onto the blade to produce brittle and hard Ni matrix and keep the diamond in place. This enables accurate cutting on different materials. These saw blades are categorized according to their shapes, methods of manufacturing and their uses. A diamond saw blade has diamond-tipped teeth."I think one of the things we've seen is that historically, corporations and agencies paid the fees for employees to go to big conferences and the dues to join professional organizations, but that's something that's not happening so much anymore," Van Parys said. "Locally, we've seen a shift from more corporate and agency folks to people exploring the viable opportunity of branching out on their own and maybe do it while job-hunting."But several people I know who were born and bred in the south have remarked not on Yorkshire folk's stinginess but on their generosity - if not directly in cash, in time and kindliness.Seitz said the FCPRA has, in order to encourage new membership and to keep members attending monthly meetings, stepped up its programming efforts to cover topics like lead generation and how to pitch "green" and "sustainable" subjects, which Seitz said was originally met with a "collective yawn" at a board meeting.Van Parys said that PRSA events are traditionally content-based and that sectional groups ranging from "technology" to "young professionals" further break down members into niche networking groups. Each diamond blade is designed for a particular purpose. Hence, its reaction may differ under varying conditions. Diamond blades are also made of steel core or impregnated with diamonds for optimal results.

"The spin we put on it was. 'How do you sustain sustainability?' especially if a company has invested a lot of money into it and now all of a sudden, the whole idea is 2008," Seitz said.

Know What To Look For In Diamond Band Saw Blades?

Diamond band saw blades are the part of a diamond bad saw used for cutting abrasive materials. The diamond blades are excellent for cutting very abrasive materials like glass, brick, concrete and stone. However, rather than cutting through the materials, the diamond grinds because of the rectangular teeth containing the diamond crystals.

The perception that we Tykes are careful with our money is widespread. We are physically and sartorially different from the rest of Britain in that we have short arms and deep pockets, so the legend runs. Both the PRSA Westchester/Fairfield and FCPRA have roughly less than 120 members, respectively. PRSA nationally has about 21,000 members. The FCPRA began as a five-member group in 1959.Andy was brought up in Knaresborough so if anyone has a free pass to poke gentle fun at Tyke stereotypes it's him.And what's wrong with a tight Christmas?' the band's founder, Andy Watts, asked in a Yorkshire accent.Echoing her thoughts is Wendy Van Parys, the New Canaan, Conn.-based principal of Wendy Van Parys Marketing Communications and president of the Public Relations Society of America Westchester/Fairfield chapter. When it comes to their shapes, the diamond blades are similar to circular saw blades, band saw blades and gang saw blades. The most widely used and also the most commonly available is the circular diamond saw blades. And at Christmas time, no creature on earth is more generous than a Yorkshireman."We truly understand that people's time is extremely valuable and its hard enough to get out of the office," said the director of marketing for The Ashforth Co. in Stamford, Conn. "So in order to get them out of the office, you have to provide great programming. Everyone says, 'What's in it for me? I need to have something to take away.' "I have already forgiven Andy Watts.Van Parys said, "One thing that has made us extremely successful in attracting new members is hosting peer groups monthly for sole practitioners and one for corporate people and one for nonprofit people."

Because Diamond band saw blades are designed for specific application, it is crucial that you know which type of blade is best used for the materials you plan to cut or grind.

THAT ineffable feeling that Christmas is here comes to different people at different times.

Blades for diamond gang saw are made of long steel plate welded with diamond segments. In order to cut or grind through raw stone blocks, you will need to use tens or hundreds of diamond gang saw blades.Generally, the diamond band saw blades are flexible closed steel band fixed with diamonds on the teeth of one side of the band. Now, to fix the diamonds onto the blades base, several methods can be employed. The most common is sintering the mixture of metal bond and diamonds to form the cutting edge of the blade complete with diamond segments. The band had been thinking of song titles suitable for our straitened times. I Saw Two Ships Come Sailing In - neither of which you can fly planes from - was my favourite. For many years it fell to Huddersfield Methodist Choir or the Choral to float my seasonal boat.Although most Saw blades are made from different materials, the steel is the most commonly used because they are inexpensive. There is also the HSS or High-speed steel which is harder than a typical steel blade. Examples of blades made of high-speed steel are scroll saw blades, jig saw blades, and reciprocating saw blades.I'm Dreaming of a Tight Christmas was another.Brainstorming led to new ways of looking at what could be deemed commonplace in 2010.Other methods include vacuum brazing, electroplating, extruding and many more. Electroplated diamond blades can be manufactured to be extremely thin. The diamonds are electroplated onto the base of the metal blade, the thickness of which may be tens of microns.Depending on the materials to which the diamond band saw blades are used, there are granite, marble, concrete, general purpose, asphalt, and gem-cutting diamond blades. They apologised throughout for stringencies brought about by the recession - a song scroll instead of a laser light show and tiny Christmas tree ('A gift from the government of Norway').Kim DePra, president of the Fairfield County Public Relations Association, said the organization began a rewards card program, which gives a little something back to the frequent attendee.

Fretwork and Scroll Sawing Experiences

Fretwork is decoration or patterns or patterns on a surface made by cutting into or through the surface, according to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary. But to me, fretwork and scroll sawing, as it is often referred to, is a great way to relieve stress and at the same time get a sense of accomplishment when your item is finished. There is a wide variety of materials that can be used for fretwork, including thick paper, many different wood materials, soft metals and plastics. Although I have used Plexiglas, plywood and cardboard, my true love for scroll sawing is wood.

When using a template or different woodworking patterns, make sure that the cut is taking the pencil mark off with it. After you have traced the pattern, it should look exactly as you want the finished cut out to appear. If you align your blade to the pencil mark and it is cut away as you go, you are sure to get the look you intended. In a 1993 study, Powers found that historically, teachers of learners with special needs practiced two teaching strategies: 1) learners with special needs were grouped among other students and expected to do the best that they could without any assistance, or 2) they were isolated from the other students and given some type of label. "With learners with special needs, techniques that appeal to multiple senses and those that reinforce and re-emphasize learning are needed" (Newcomb, McCracken, Warmbrod, & Whittington, 2004, p. 305).- Cut out initials to hang on the wallIn the previously mentioned study of Ohio secondary agriculture teachers, it was indicated that discussion and lecture were among the most-used teaching methods when teaching learners with special needs (Hoerst & Whittington, 2009); however, those were also the most-used techniques reported in a study of learners in a traditional classroom (Falk, Beck, & Whittington, 2009). Preservice teachers need to be taught to step outside of their comfort zones, and experiment with teaching strategies that they may not traditionally use, such as role play or peer teaching in order to reach learners with special needs. Teaching by demonstration and learning-by-doing should also characterize the instruction used in inclusive classrooms (Newcomb, et al., 2004). In addition, the problemsolving approach to teaching has been used throughout agricultural education, and is an effective approach for implementing instruction for learners, regardless of ability (Newcomb, et al., 2004).It is really great to start out with a piece of rough cut lumber and end up with a keepsake. I demonstrated the scroll saw for A-Line Machine and Tool at some workshops they had on woodworking, and discovered this hobby is enjoyed by all ages. Kids as young as 9 years old and up to 90 years old came in and wanted some tips on scroll sawing. There are a lot of personal preferences when it comes to scroll sawing, including the machine and blades used, cuts of wood or types of materials, or what finish is used on their art. But most people that try it once, love using the scroll saw.

Best Bet Scroll Saw Patterns

Scroll saw patterns take the guess work out of where to saw. It allows the saw operator to focus on guiding the wood instead of the larger, overall pattern. There are many free sources and excellent books for designing your own patterns or using someone elses in your woodworking project. The how-to part of using a skill saw is a lesson all its own, but when and where to put the patterns is your first order of the day.

Beck, W. M., & Whittington, M. S. (2009). Describing teaching techniques for assessing student cognitive retention. NACTA 2009 Abstracts and Awards, p. 42.Tips for Getting the Most from Your Scroll SawThe inclusion of learners with special needs is not only mandated by law, but is a civic and moral duty for secondary agriculture teachers. The driving force behind federal mandates that schools must follow is the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which was originally established in 1975 and known as Public Law 94-142. It was this landmark legislation that established mainstreaming and prescribed that which schools must do to serve the handicapped (Iverson, 1993).Using the right blade for the type of wood and level of detail in the pattern is also important in getting a profession finished image and having greater control in the process. Making cuts that are straight up and down will allow any blade to move freely and again add control to the process. If you find that your cuts are jumping it may be that you are trying to push the wood around the pattern too quickly or that you are using too thin or small a blade. The best way to guide the wood through is to let the saw do the driving forward, while you simply adjust from left to right as the pattern dictates. From my viewpoint, the hardest part of using wood is getting the board to a finished thickness and smoothness so that the pattern can be attached. There are a number of places that you can purchase finished lumber, starting from as thin as 1/8 Baltic birch and up. If you have the necessary tools, the most economical way to get started is to buy rough cut lumber from a local lumber yard. Rough cut lumber is usually 1 to 1 1/4 thick, and most lumberyards will have one edge trim so you can start out with a straight edge. There are so many beautiful grained hardwoods available, though I primarily use oak, cherry and walnut. At this point, the wood is run through a band-saw and cut into strips, anywhere from 2 to 2 1/2 wide, depending on the original width of the board, so they are fairly uniform in width. With experience and the right tools youll be creating filigree designs like the pros in no time. It just takes the right tools, a little practice, and a good scroll saw pattern.Elbert, C. D. & Baggett, C. D. (2003). Teacher competence for working with disabled students as perceived by secondary level agricultural instructors in Pennsylvania. Journal of Agricultural Education, 44(\), 105-115.Teacher education programs, designed to address the instruction of learners with special needs, have existed since at least the late 1800s. However, as the number of learners with special needs increases in agriculture programs, agriculture teachers' needs for additional training also increases (Elbert & Baggett, 2003).Iverson, M. J. (1993). Will we serve the academically disadvantaged? The Agricultural Education Magazine, 66(6), 4.The need currently exists to prepare teachers to use effective methods of teaching for learners in an inclusive setting. A 2007 census study of secondary agriculture teachers in Ohio was used to report that teachers needed more competency when teaching learners with special needs (Hoerst & Whittington, 2009); the preservice agriculture teachers from the land grant university in Ohio were required to complete only one course on teaching learners with exceptional needs. Thus, teacher preparation programs need to be aware of the limitations and consequent concerns of those teachers who are currently serving learners with special needs.Special education teachers often work in their own classroom or office and can be underutilized by agriculture teachers. The continued separatist approach in teacher preparation considers special education as a separate entity "and one that did not and need not involve intensive collaboration or even cooperation with regular classroom teachers..." (Osgood, 2005, p. 120). However, special education teachers are responsible to collaborate with all teachers to develop effective Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) for learners. Agricultural education teachers, given their current preservice education curriculum, typically have limited experience with IEPs. According to Elbert and Baggett (2003), secondary agricultural education teachers need additional training to help develop IEPs. In addition, 60% of secondary agriculture teachers in Ohio reported needing more training in writing educational goals and objectives for IEPs (Hoerst & Whittington, 2009).

With experience and the right tools youll be creating filigree designs like the pros in no time. It just takes the right tools, a little practice, and a good scroll saw pattern.

Looking Through a Peephole or an Open Door?: Insights into Inclusion

The time had come. After four years of preservice education, I was finally on my own, teaching in my classroom, with my students, and my carefully constructed lessons. I anxiously waited for my first students to walk through the door so I could grab their attention and immerse them in my love of agriculture. However, students weren't the first through the door that initial morning on the job, the special education coordinator was. She walked in, handed me a stack of file folders labeled with students' names, asked me to sign a sheet of paper, and waltzed back out, all within one minute. Curious, I opened the top folder and scrolled down until I saw the intimidating word "Accommodations." Suddenly, I realized my carefully, yet narrowly constructed lessons weren't going to work for my students, at least not the way I had originally planned. My excitement dwindled and panic took over.... was I really ready to teach ALL of my students? How was 1 going to accommodate the varied special needs of my students? How, in my preservice education, did my view of what my students needed to be successful become so narrow? Was I alone in this feeling, or were my peers feeling the same way?

- A cut out napkin/paper towel holder"If our teaching is to be studentcentered, we must accept the idea of teaching individual students in classes rather than teaching classes" (Priebe, 1971, p. 239). Education is successful only as it relates to the needs, interests, and attitudes of the learners to whom it is directed. Teachers of agriculture have been proponents of this philosophy and have structured their programs accordingly. As we move forward, it will be increasingly important to prepare our preservice teachers for thinking beyond the narrow peephole approach to accommodations, and instead to embrace an open door of inclusion for learners with special needs.Brief Evolution of InclusionFalk, J. M., Beck, W. M., & Whittington, M. S. (2009). Describing student cognitive retention in an animal science unit. NACTA 2009 Abstracts and Awards, p. 43-44.Teaching Techniques and StrategiesOnce cut into strips, the strip is turned on its side and run through the band-saw again, cutting it so it's between and inches thick. I like to use what they call a re-saw blade in my band-saw, one that is anywhere from to wide. I always make sure that I have the guard down as close to the piece of wood that I can, never wear loose fitting clothes and wear protective eye goggles for safety reasons. What Scroll Saw Pattern to UseOne of the nice results of using a scroll saw, is that there is very little sanding that needs to be done, mainly on the back and sometimes in the corners, depending on how you do them. The blade that you use will also determine how much sanding is needed on your inner cuts. My preference is the Olson Double-Tooth, Skipped Tooth blade; it seems to stay a little cooler which means it lasts a little longer. One thing you don't want to use is a dull blade, as it is really hard to stay on your lines with a dull blade, and sometimes you don't have a lot of room for veering off lines. Once the piece is sanded to your satisfaction and glued together, all that is left if putting on the finish. I prefer the natural grain and color of the wood, so I usually use a semi-clear gloss coating, which really enhances the natural grain.- A welcome sign for your home- A set of carved baby blocksSummaryIn summary, secondary agricultural educators will be working with learners with special needs. It is essential that they know and understand how to contribute to an IEP, as well as how to follow what the requirements state of them as directed through an IEP. However, many preservice agricultural education programs are lacking this skill development.Once all the strips are cut, they can be glued together, making sure the grain of the wood is alternated to prevent the wood from warping. Then all that's left is putting on the finishing touches. I run both edges through the joiner to make sure I have a flat, straight edge and then through the planer to get it down to the desired thickness.Kisanji, J. (1999, March). Historical and Theoretical Basis of Inclusive Education. Keynote address at the meeting of Inclusive Education in Namibia: The Challenge for Teacher Education, Namibia.Hoerst, C. M., & Whittington, M. S. (2009). The current status of classroom inclusion activities of secondary agriculture teachers. Journal of Agricultural Education, 50(2), 38-51.- Carved top to a wooden jewellery boxInclusive education of learners with special needs "recognizes that special learning needs can arise from social, psychological, economic, linguistic, cultural, as well as physical (or disability) factors, hence the term 'children with special needs' rather than 'children with disabilities'" (Kisanji, 1999, p. 3); they are learners first, and their special needs should not define who they are. Disability advocates argue that disability is socially constructed and that society places barriers on certain groups of people. Therefore, these advocates believe that learner-centered classrooms provide the most effective education for learners with special needs.Scroll saw fans are constantly learning from one another. There are online blogs and message boards for posting questions and giving your best tips. In addition, the technology behind the saw keeps improving. For example, one manufacturer has a scroll saw where the blade instead of the table surface angles and adjusts. There are other models where foot pedals are included so that both hands are free to guide the wood. This makes curvy scrollsaw patterns much easier to follow. Now I am almost ready to use the scroll saw. Once the pattern is selected, spray art glue is used to lightly spray the back of the pattern and place it on the finished board. When adhered to the wood, holes are drilled for every place where scroll saw blade access is needed. The clock shown only needed 21 holes drilled, but I have done some designs where over 300 holes were needed. Depending on the scroll saw that you use, it is fairly quick to detach the top of the blade and insert it from the bottom of your workpiece so you can begin to cut. Delta has a handy quick release blade chuck that will also work on some other brands of saws.Newcomb, L. H., McCracken, J. D., Warmbrod, J. R., & Whittington, M. S. (2004).
